I borrowed these two quotes from Rachel Held Evans' blog. They really made me think about what I once believed.

Or, a cruel man envisions a cruel God. I like Paine. His "Age Of Reason" can still be read with great profit two hundred years later.
ReplyDeleteDuring a very dark time in my life, many years ago and yet it seems like yesterday, a Christian health professional recommended John Piper's writings to me. I read some of his stuff online and promptly got even sicker. :-(
